Pasteurella haemolytica and Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae could not be found. It was possible to isolate Pasteurella multocida and Bordetella bronchiseptica from ani- mals in every stall compartment. The percentage of germ carriers deve- loped non-uniformly in the systems and mostly without significant diffe- rences. A clear connection between detectable pathogens and lung dia- gnoses in the slaughterhouse could not be established. Damage to the integument (bursae auxiliares at the limbs) did not show any clear diffe- rences between the housing systems. With regard to the locomotor system, all three systems are characterized by few lame animals and prove flawless housing.application/pdfengArticle
