The calculation of realistic prices for bio- fuels requires the consideration of complete engineering process chains, which include all work steps from the cultivation of the vegetable bio- mass to the spreading or disposal of the ashes. In feasibility studies, of- ten only simplified machinery chains or global values are considered.
